How WLC College India Produces Thinking Designers

is wlci a good college
WLC College India established WLCI School of Advertising & Graphic Design in the year 1998. Over the years, they have trained and produced thousands of Thinking Designers.  With innovation and creativity as the building blocks of their development, WLCI Alumni’s are by far the most skilled professionals in the industry.

WLCI reveals the secrets to flourish in the industry :-
  • Build up your portfolio. No matter how small of a project you have undertaken, create an impressive space for it in your work portfolio. Potential clients look for diversity as well as your style of design and capability. You can even choose to specialize in a statement style.
  •  Stay Actively Updated. Design world changes in a jiffy; stay on top of the changing trends and user preferences. Even if you are placed in a secure job, there is no harm in looking at opportunities that thrill you. Go Freelance to feed your creative drive.
  • Socialize, Show-Off and Seek Advice. Gone are the days when artists only socialized with other artists only. The need for creative thinkers has moved beyond the confinement of art and into the commercial world. Build your repo with an approachable attitude and good communication skills. Your work will speak for you but first you have to learn how to best showcase it.
  • Typography is your weapon. With proper use of this tool, almost 90% of your work is done. All aspects of design, that is spacing, contrasting, coloring, grouping, styling, markups, accessibility etc, still hold value. But, typography is a design element that successfully stands above the rest.
  • Plan before you Practice; Practice before you Produce. Most importantly, WLCI School of Advertising & Graphic Design feels that if you live by this golden rule, you not only save time and energy but also create efficient and impressive designs.

How Wigan & Leigh College imparts life lessons

Failure paves the way to success !

Failing does cause emotional distress but the aim is to move away from the hurt. Training your mind to learn from a mistake is the goal. At WLC College India, we emphasize on the thought: No point crying over spilt milk, rather, we train the students to pick up the milk carton and identify the source of the problem.

Finding a cure is far better than finding a remedy. WLCI students are able to look at failure as an analysis of their goal. Optimism runs through their veins. One cannot see failure as a dead end; it is an experience, the fruit of your attempt.

WLC College India reveals how failure and mistakes results in personal growth !

  • Don’t hide behind your failures; use them as stepping stones to reach your end goal.
  • Make a note of ‘lessons learnt’ from each unsuccessful attempt; forget about the damages.
  • Reframe mistakes into eliminated options.
  • Perception turns into reality; whatever you believe in today will inevitably come into existence.

We at WLC College firmly believe that Success and Failure are two sides of the same coin. Failure is not the end of the world it is just the absence of Success. Tables do turn; it is the virtue of life. No one can succeed without experiencing the flip side first !
