Today is Teacher’s Day !
Lesser known fact – This day is
celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was an
academic philosopher. He was the first Vice President of India and went on to
become the second President of India. Dr. Radhakrishnan had declared his
birthday to be celebrated as Teacher’s Day in the honor of the educators of our
society.
