The Commonwealth games began a week ago in Glasgow,
Scotland with much fanfare.

The CW Games are an international, multi-sport event
involving athletes from the commonwealth of Nations. These nations are those
which were previously ruled by the British Empire. The event was first held in
1930 and takes place every four years ever since.
