For long the law-makers in India
have been pushing for the amendment of Juvenile Justice Act. Legal experts in the
Capital are of the opinion that the implementation & amendment in the
Juvenile Justice Act needs to be done with utmost urgency. In the last few
years crimes like rape and murder has hit the headlines times and again, with
the perpetrators being juveniles and have conveniently escaped harsher
punishment !

College is of the opinion that with changes in the law, this aspect might
finally get the justice it demands.
