Yes,
WLCI Design School teaches Package Designing. We also encourage students to
participate in Live Projects to practice their skills. Take a Look at Abhirami Rao’s
CD Packaging Project.
WLCI
student Abhirami Rao, has completed her design project recently, which was
designing and packaging of a CD cover that was given to her as an assignment. Abhirami
Rao has done her Advertising and Design course from WLCI Design School. She is creative as well as innovative in her thoughts and
execution of the same. At her Design School she received training on how to
design a concept, illustrate the same, do product research and merchandising,
ideate and draw up collaterals and many other design related skills, along with
hands-on experience in real-job scenario with the innovative “Traineeship
Programme”.
She took up the challenge to deliver something new and not the just run-of-mill design. She researched the theme and the product that she had to deliver and came up with a very innovative idea of presenting the CD cover. She made a ‘Circular Disc Cover’ that is very different what you would usually view in the market and as well as used the space to ingeniously present the information about the CD.
According
to Abhirami’s own words-‘A wrapped up thing is a piece of surprise and
curiosity for the on lookers. If it appeals to the eyes, people show interest
to know the content. I designed a CD cover as well as retail packet for an
album -Aalaap by Agnee Band, as a part of WLCI College assignment and showcased
it differently’.
WLCI
Design School wishes Abhirami all the best in all her future endeavors and to view
